"The secret to getting things done is to act!" - Dante Alighieri
Think strategically, act tactically!
Your strategy gives you the path you need to move toward achieving your organization’s mission. Tactics are much more concrete and are often oriented toward smaller steps and a shorter time frame along the way. They involve best practices, specific plans, resources, etc. I recommend using this outline and the Business Model Canvas together as a means to evaluate any business idea you may wish to consider.
NOTE: Improving Execution. I don't remember where I found this outline above, but I've made one significant change to it which makes it work better for me and hopefully for you too. The change I made was to limit one of the time constraints to 6 'weeks' instead of 6 'months.' The reason is that I've adopted THE 12 WEEK YEAR as a system.
You can get more done in 12 weeks than others do in 12 months. Read or listen to "THE 12 WEEK YEAR' and get the Field Guide.
